At Gemflora and Gem Flora Wedding , we specialize in floral wholesale and full-scale wedding & event decorations. From fresh flower deliveries to beautiful venue transformations, we bring creative visions to life. We are looking for a dedicated Driver & Event Operations Assistant to join our team and play a key role in both our logistics and setup operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and transport flowers, decor materials, and equipment to various venues and client locations.
- Load and unload floral supplies and decorations safely and efficiently.
- Assist in full wedding and event setup - including arranging floral centerpieces, backdrops, arches, and other decor elements.
- Support the team in on-site decoration, installation, and post-event teardown.
- Ensure all items are handled carefully and delivered in perfect condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicle(s).
- Help with basic inventory checks and coordination with warehouse staff.
- Communicate with the team to ensure timely setup and smooth event execution.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 (or relevant) Singapore driving license with a clean record.
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move floral stands, props, and heavy decor items.
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and on tight event timelines.
- A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Willing to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays (depending on event schedule).
- Experience in event setup, logistics, or the floral industry is a bonus.
