Job Summary
We are looking for a Driver cum Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to handle deliveries, warehouse operations, inventory management, and on-time shipments. The ideal candidate needs to have a clean driving record, solid logistics experience, strong communication skills, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations: Drive and deliver goods safely and on schedule to customers
- Warehouse Management: Handle daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products to meet delivery timelines
- Sales Coordination: Liaise with the sales team to align warehouse activities with sales orders and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure availability and accuracy
- Safety Compliance: Follow and enforce warehouse safety protocols, and recommend improvements to minimize risks and maintain a safe workplace
- Quality Checks: Perform electrical testing on products as part of warehouse operations to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- General Support: Carry out other warehouse and logistics-related tasks as assigned to support overall operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 3 driving licence and forklift license to operate warehouse vehicles safely and legally
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of warehouse and logistics experience to effectively manage warehouse tasks
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and computer applications to maintain records and communicate efficiently
- Apply electrical knowledge to perform testing and support warehouse operations safely
- Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse workflow
- Work independently and manage stress effectively to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
