Job Summary
Deliver wines and related products safely and accurately to customers while maintaining stock, vehicle condition, and adhering to safety and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver wines and related products daily to customers including restaurants, clubs, and outlets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Load and unload goods safely, handling fragile items such as glass bottles with care
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, and quantities before and after each delivery
- Obtain customer acknowledgment via signature or stamp upon delivery
- Conduct routine stock-taking and maintain accurate stock balance and labeling of wines
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned company vehicle
- Follow traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies consistently
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Report delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies promptly to the supervisor
- Assist with basic warehouse duties such as packing and stock arrangement when required
- Ensure company vehicle is used only for work purposes and returned after deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues immediately
- Handle ad-hoc deliveries and warehouse activities as assigned by supervisor
- Complete any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess Class 3 driving license
- Able to handle physical work
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum qualification O level
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Immediate availability to start work
