Job Responsibilities
- Operate Class 4 vehicles safely and responsibly for delivery and collection of goods.
- Handle picking, packing, loading, and unloading activities as required.
- Ensure goods are transported securely and with care to avoid damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle daily.
- Perform routine checks and promptly report any vehicle faults or issues.
- Support general warehouse operations when needed, including stock organization and delivery checks.
- Accurately complete and maintain delivery documentation and records.
- Ensure timely deliveries and proactively communicate any expected delays.
- Work closely with the operations and logistics team to ensure smooth coordination.
- Provide courteous and professional service at delivery and collection points.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the scheduler or operations team.
Job Requirements
- Minimum primary or secondary level education.
- Valid Class 3 and Class 4 driving licences with at least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
- Good driving record with no major violations.
- Familiarity with Singapore roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide good customer service.
- A dependable team player with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
- Able to read, write, and understand basic English to handle delivery instructions and documentation.
- Honest, reliable, proactive, and capable of problem-solving on the job.
