Driver Class 4/5

Job Description:

. Operate company vehicles (Class 4/5) to transport construction materials, tools, machinery, and personnel to and from job sites.

. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials and verify that shipments are correct and properly secured.

. Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs.

. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with traffic laws, environmental regulations, and company policies while driving.

. Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction site equipment as required.

. Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and supplies.

. Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, vehicle inspections, fuel consumption, and other related documentation.

. Perform other duties related to the construction site as directed by site supervisors or management.

Requirements:

. Valid Class 4 or Class 5 driver's license (depending on the location and vehicle type).

. Experienced driver: At least 1 year of working experience, with a valid Class 4 driving license.

. Physically capable: Able to handle items weighing between 25kg to 30kg, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading.

. Driving knowledge: Familiarity with Singapore road networks and delivery routes to optimize delivery efficiency.

. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.

. Previous experience driving in a construction environment is preferred.

. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and safe driving practices.

. Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.

. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs as needed.
