We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Driver to support our air cargo operations in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of safe driving, with at least 3 years of experience operating Class 4 vehicles. You will be responsible for the secure, accurate, and timely transportation of cargo across various island-wide locations, in compliance with traffic laws and aviation logistics procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 4 vehicles to collect and deliver air cargo across island-wide locations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all road safety regulations and traffic rules.
- Verify that all loaded cargo matches the documentation and instructions provided by the cargo controller or supervisor.
- Promptly report any discrepancies or irregularities in the cargo to the relevant personnel.
- Ensure all cargo is securely and safely loaded to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate communication with the controller on delivery and collection status.
- Take full responsibility for the assigned vehicle's cleanliness, roadworthiness, and basic maintenance.
- Support warehouse or ramp operations as needed during loading and unloading processes.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or operations team.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 Driving License in Singapore.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in air cargo or logistics operations.
- Familiar with Singapore road networks and airport cargo terminal operations.
- Good understanding of cargo safety and handling procedures.
- Physically fit and able to handle cargo where required.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
