Drafter

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings based on project requirements.
• Interpret engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, and Clients regarding drawing submissions and revisions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain proper document control and drawing registers.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
• Assist in preparing submission drawings for approval.
• Update drawings according to site conditions and approved changes.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to support project schedules.

Requirements

• Diploma / ITE in Engineering, Drafting, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of drafting experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of M&E, ACMV, Fire Protection, Structural, or Building Services drawings will be an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
