Drafter

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce detailed tender and construction drawings for mechanical systems
• Define project scope, identify potential issues, and raise clarifications as needed
• Evaluate quotations and bid documents to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare and present comprehensive design reports to project stakeholders
• Prepare and manage the construction drawing management forms, ensuring all drawings are updated and accurate
• Create and verify calculation reports to support the design process
• Review and verify all design and construction drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
• Review and validate major equipment and material specification sheets
• Approve major equipment purchase requisitions and ensure procurement aligns with project needs
• Manage and coordinate external design tasks for respective disciplines
• Conduct design handover sessions with clients and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in detail design of Mechanical Systems (ACMV, Chilled water plant, Building Services, Cleanrooms, etc)
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other mechanical design tools
• Understanding of HVAC systems, piping, pressure vessels, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
