Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Drafter / BIM Coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing construction drawings, coordinating design information, and supporting project teams throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, M&E, and interior fit-out drawings to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
- Review drawings to identify clashes, discrepancies, and coordination issues before construction.
- Prepare drawing submissions for consultants and main contractors.
- Update drawings according to consultants comments and site requirements.
- Maintain proper drawing registers, revision records, and document control.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Engineers, Consultants, and Main Contractors on drawing-related matters.
- Support site teams by providing timely drawing revisions and technical drafting assistance.
- Attend coordination meetings when required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and construction requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is preferred.
- Experience with Navisworks or BIM coordination is an added advantage.
- Familiar with architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
- Experience in ceiling, drywall, partition, ALC panel, or interior fit-out projects is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
