Design support
- Drafters main task is to use software (AutoCAD) to convert the designs of engineers into technical drawings at various stages of a project.
- Keep the drawings/documents in digital format or hardcopy
Drafters typically do the following:
- Design plans
- Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers
- Add details to plans from their knowledge of building techniques
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
- Work under the supervision of engineers
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Civil or equivalent in Engineering
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical & Civil Engineering works or equivalent relevant working experience in Construction Industry
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Effective communication skills and enjoy interacting with people at all levels
- Meticulous, an eye for details and sensitive in figures or numbers
- Positive attitudes/ drive for result and willingness to learn
