Job Summary
The Drafter / BIM Modeller reports to the Senior Drafter and is responsible for creating, updating and revising BIM models throughout projects life cycles based on contract drawings and latest information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce design drawings using BIM and CAD technologies for cabinetry construction projects
- Coordinate with main contractors and other trades to provide cross-team support using BIM software
- Ensure BIM models are compatible and BIM data is accessible to all project participants
- Collaborate with the design team and relevant departments to verify drawings meet design requirements
- Perform additional drafting and BIM modelling tasks as assigned to support project needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in architectural project drafting or BIM modelling
- Proficient use of MS Office, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of native BIM authoring formats and BIM-related applications for design reviews
- Fluent in spoken and written English
