Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage marine foreshore structure projects, specifically focusing on marine piling and civil works.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Utilize specialized knowledge in marine construction techniques, including but not limited to pile driving, seawall construction, and other marine infrastructure projects.
- Monitor and track project progress, addressing any issues or risks related to marine engineering and construction.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, set expectations, and communicate project updates.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Demonstrate expertise in environmental considerations and regulatory compliance associated with marine construction projects.
- Foster a collaborative and safety-focused team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years or more of hands-on experience in project management within the marine foreshore structure sector.
- Proficient in marine piling techniques and civil works associated with marine construction.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple marine construction projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes related to marine construction projects.
