Perform routine inspection for migrant worker dormitories to ensure cleanliness, safety and well-maintained.
Assist and coordinate in the repair and fixing of broken or worn-down items in the migrant worker dormitories.
Oversee room occupancies and maintain proper documentation including check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments and maintaining an updated occupants list.
Ensure workers comply with dormitory regulations, and address any issues or disputes raised by residents.
Assist in emergency response, including incident management and crisis handling within the dormitories including after work hours.
2. Labour Administration
Support foreign labour management processes, including work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, repatriation, welfare and benefits.
Support for worker welfare including assisting with medical matters organising welfare activities.
Enforce company rules and regulations by monitoring workers conduct, maintaining discipline, and addressing conflicts promptly and appropriately report all disciplinary matters to management in a timely manner and issue warning or disciplinary letters when required.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper filing in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with relevant authorities such as MOM and other government agencies.
Assist and support any other ad-hoc duties.
Pre-requisites:
Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Words, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Good organisational and documentation skills.
Able to communicate with foreign workers of different nationalities.
Willing to be stationed at migrant worker dormitories.
Working Environment:
Work on a 5.5-day work week alternate Saturdays off may be provided subject to operational requirements.
