Job Summary
You will ensure the wellbeing and safety of dogs by safely transporting them to and from school, providing excellent care, facilitating their development through walks and socialisation, and maintaining cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport dogs to and from school, ensuring their security during transit
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition to ensure safe transportation
- Ensure the safety and welfare of dogs during all activities to promote their wellbeing
- Facilitate walks, playtimes, and socialisation sessions to support dogs growth and development
- Clean up after dogs to maintain a hygienic environment
- Maintain a healthy and clean environment for the dogs comfort and safety
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned to support daily operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driving Licence with over 2 years experience driving a van preferred to ensure safe dog transport
- Compassionate attitude and genuine enjoyment in caring for dogs to enhance their welfare
- Good physical condition to perform physically demanding tasks under various weather conditions
- Quick reflexes to respond promptly to dogs needs and safety situations
- Professional and mature attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
- Flexibility to work shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Good verbal and written English communication skills for clear reporting and coordination
- Experience in a related field is a bonus but not essential
