- Clean and wash dog kennels to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Walk dogs alongside volunteers, ensuring they receive regular exercise and enrichment.
- Assist with basic medical care, including applying topical medications, administering eye drops, and cleaning wounds under guidance.
- Spend dedicated time with dogs that are learning to trust and socialize with people.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Assist in bringing dogs to veterinary appointments when needed.
- Support veterinary house calls at the shelter.
- Carry out other shelter-related duties as reasonably assigned.
5 day work week (Flexible and negotiable)

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a genuine love for dogs and animal welfare.
- Is comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on environment.
- Is patient, responsible, and able to remain calm around dogs with different temperaments.
- Is willing to learn and follow animal handling and care protocols.
- Can work independently as well as collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
- Has basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
- A valid driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
