Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all grooming services including bathing, brushing, cutting, trimming, de-shedding, nail clipping, and ear cleaning.
- Assess each dog's coat and condition to recommend suitable grooming styles and care.
- Handle dogs with care, patience, and compassion, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming tools, equipment, and work area.
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide after-care advice.
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or stress and report concerns appropriately.
- Deliver excellent customer service and help build long-term client relationships.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a dog groomer or relevant pet care experience preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
