Title: IT Support Specialist

We have a dispatch / freelancing IT support activity in Singapore scheduled on 17th March 2025 at the following client location:

Scope of Work – Access Point (AP) Replacement

1. Objective

To replace existing faulty/old wireless Access Points (APs) with new units, ensuring proper installation, connectivity, and performance of the wireless network.

2. Scope Coverage

• Removal of existing AP devices
• Installation of new AP units at the same location
• Reconnection to existing network (LAN/PoE)
• Basic configuration and validation

3. Activities to be Performed

a. Pre-Activity Preparation

• Verify availability of replacement AP devices
• Confirm compatibility (model, controller, licensing if applicable)
• Identify existing AP locations and mapping
• Ensure network ports and PoE availability

➡️ Replacement typically requires the old AP to be identified and prepared for swap before installation.

Tools To Carry-

1. Fully charged mobile phone (Teams enabled) and headphones to stay in touch.
2. 2. Masking tape to stick for marking the cable and port number
3. 3. Should carry screwdrivers
4. 4. Ethernet cable tester
5. 5.Laptop
6. 6.Cansole cable
7. 7. Laptop with Ethernet cable

8. Need to carry headphones to connect on call
