Job Summary: The Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all cutlery, crockery, kitchen equipment, and dining areas. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining services.
Key Responsibilities:
. Wash and sanitize all cutlery, crockery, trays, and cups to maintain hygiene standards.
. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, and utensils.
. Maintain the housekeeping of dishwashing and dining areas, ensuring they are clean and organized.
. Clear rubbish and clean rubbish bins to ensure a sanitary environment.
. Wash toilets as required to maintain hygiene standards in all areas.
. Assist with the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and dining facilities.
. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
. Team player with good communication skills.
. Additional allowance will be given for WSQ Basic Cleaning certifications
