Job Description

Job Summary

This role is to support the CFO for Wealth and WRB Products in the review of accounting and processes for WRB Retail and Wealth products together with the Financial Controllership and Financial accounting teams

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Responsible for supporting the accounting and processes reviews of WBR Retail and Wealth products across markets.
  • Support the CFO, Wealth and WRB Products in working with the Financial Controllership, Financial Accounting, and Group and Country teams in understanding, documenting and implementing the recommended accounting and controls

Business

  • Working with the Finance, Products and Operations team in understanding, documenting and rolling out the recommended accounting and controls

Processes

  • Review existing processes to provide and implement recommendations across countries for WRB products including Wealth Solutions

People & Talent

  • Work effectively and collaboratively with finance/ non finance colleagues within Group and country teams.

Risk Management

  • Participate and contribute in risk discussions as required to facilitate better external and internal communication of WRB risk matters impacting financial performance.

Governance

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the business operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations to the role

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years relevant experience in finance at a leading global financial services firm, preferably banking.
  • Strong understanding and/ or previous experience in Retail and Wealth Products and Financial Markets products.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading and managing broad processes, while challenging the status quo and embracing the spirit of transformation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage varied stakeholders and global teams within finance and business.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and ambiguity.
