As a senior leader in the TACs & Business Networks team, you will be at the forefront of shaping Singapore's business ecosystem - curating strategies, leading teams, and driving impactful change.
Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs)
You will lead the strengthening of Singapore's TAC ecosystem by forging strategic partnerships, building sector-wide capabilities, and championing transformation initiatives. You will work closely with TAC leaders, government agencies, industry partners and internal stakeholders to co-create programmes and platforms that uplift governance, leadership, and operational excellence across the sector. Your efforts will help position TACs as agile, future-ready enablers that can respond to evolving business needs and opportunities.
Business Networks
You will also spearhead the growth and development of SBF's business networks which focus on next-generation business leadership and women entrepreneurship. By shaping and nurturing vibrant communities, you will design and deliver platforms and programmes that empower next-gen business leaders and women entrepreneurs and propel SBF's work in empowering business leaders of tomorrow. This includes curating leadership programmes, fostering peer learning, and amplifying the voices of next-gen business leaders and women entrepreneurs to drive innovation and inclusive growth.
To succeed in this role, you should possess strategic vision, exceptional relationship-building skills, adaptability, and a deep understanding of both ecosystem development and emerging business trends. You will play a key role in mobilising networks, resources, and capabilities to drive shared outcomes and magnify the reach and influence of SBF's platforms and programmes.
One WDD Strategic Planning
You will also lead One WDD Planning functions within the division, including strategic planning for divisional workplans, performance and KPIs monitoring, and business insights. You will ensure divisional alignment with SBF2030 priorities and support cross-team integration across WDD portfolios. You will drive quick-win pilots and flagship programmes with the SBF Business Institute (SBI), co-developing scalable models in governance, trade, and leadership. You bring a driven, high-energy leadership style, are articulate, and possess the ability to conceptualise and unpack complex ideas into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and take accountability for the overall strategy, direction, and outcomes of SBF's TACs & Business Networks function, ensuring alignment with the One SBF and One WDD mindset, and embedding TACs into workforce development strategies through development of TAC dashboards, KYC profiling, and business insights to inform strategy and policy.
- Drive new business opportunities, ecosystem partnerships, sector-wide transformation, and capability building initiatives for Singapore's TACs, working closely with TAC leaders, government agencies, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Set vision, shape strategy and empower teams to deliver high-impact platforms and programmes for the growth, relevance, and impact of SBF's business networks The Young Business Leaders Network and Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network.
- Serve as a senior ambassador and thought leader for SBF, representing the organisation at key forums, leading high-level dialogues, and shaping industry influence to position SBF as the trusted partner of choice for sector transformation and business network growth.
- Shape and steer the TAC Sector Transformation Map (STM), anchoring the TAC Alliance 2.0 Steering Committee and Working Groups to drive sector-wide coherence and uplift.
- Oversee Digi-TAC programme delivery, ensuring strategic onboarding of TACs and scaling of digitalisation solutions that strengthen operational excellence.
- Drive capability development through flagship programmes such as the TAC Fellowship Programme (TFP), TAC Advanced Programme for Exceptional Leaders (APEX), and TAC Board Masterclass.
- Lead the conceptualisation and delivery of the TAC Summit 2026, including tripartite MOU with STB and ASAE, to position SBF as a convenor of sector transformation.
- Oversee central governance and data management processes for TACs & Business Networks to ensure alignment with SBF's strategic objectives, maintain compliance, and effectively track and measure performance across all programmes and initiatives.
- Mentor, develop, and inspire team members, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Drive quick-win pilots and flagship programmes with the SBI, validating and scaling delivery models.
- Lead divisional fundraising efforts, business development strategy, and stakeholder engagement to unlock new revenue streams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in leading ecosystem-level strategies, with the ability to set vision, shape direction, and deliver outcomes that strengthen enterprise networks and sector partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in driving business development, capability building, and transformation initiatives across public-private platforms, ideally within enterprise development, trade associations, and/or government-linked organisations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in translating insights into strategic recommendations, business cases, and impact narratives that influence senior leadership and policy direction.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders across government, industry, and business networks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of activating networks, amplifying engagement and scaling platforms that drive leadership development and enterprise growth for Singapore's business communities and beyond.
- Inspirational leadership with the ability to align and galvanise teams around a shared vision and SBF values.
- Familiarity with the TACs ecosystem and government funding schemes for business and workforce grants.
- Experience in business development, fundraising, and managing divisional P&L, with a track record of securing strategic partnerships, unlocking new revenue streams, and ensuring financial sustainability.
