We are partnering with a large, complex organisation to appoint a senior leader responsible for enterprise strategy, corporate planning, governance, and long-term transformation. This role sits at the centre of organisational decision-making, translating national policy direction and future-state ambitions into clear strategies, executable plans, and measurable outcomes.
The position works closely with executive leadership, government bodies, partner agencies, and internal teams to shape and deliver a broad preventive health and population-level transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead organisation-wide strategic planning, working closely with senior leadership and a wide network of internal and external stakeholders to shape long-term direction and priorities.
- Partner with government ministries, statutory agencies, healthcare clusters, and community organisations to align organisational strategies with national initiatives and coordinated programmes.
- Develop high-quality strategic papers, briefs, and recommendations for executive committees and senior leadership, informed by policy trends, data analysis, and system-level insights.
- Drive the annual corporate and strategic planning cycle, ensuring coherence between long-term strategy, annual workplans, and execution priorities.
- Design and oversee performance management frameworks, KPIs, and monitoring mechanisms to track impact, assess effectiveness, and guide strategic course corrections.
- Provide strategic oversight and advisory support on corporate governance, including enterprise risk management, business continuity, data protection, and compliance.
- Lead the development and implementation of ESG strategies, sustainability initiatives, and organisational policies, supported by internal reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
- Shape long-term organisational capability and capacity planning to ensure readiness for emerging population needs and future challenges.
- Identify strategic gaps and opportunities through structured analysis and systems thinking, deploying appropriate tools and methodologies to drive innovation and transformation.
- Foster a strong innovation culture by enabling platforms, processes, and mindsets that translate ideas into scalable strategies, solutions, and initiatives.
- Monitor and strengthen the organisation's overall innovation health, maturity, and execution effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate planning, transformation, or related leadership roles.
- Prior exposure to healthcare, public sector, or highly regulated environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience in transformation programmes requiring systems thinking and long-term change management.
- Strong proficiency with digital productivity tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
