Job Description

Role Summary
Responsible for capital raising, new product development, client management, and product management across the Asia Pacific region, with a particular emphasis on the Korea market. This role will drive strategic initiatives, investor engagement, and product management, ensuring alignment with both regional and Korea-specific business objectives

Key Responsibilities

STRATEGY & CAPITAL FORMATION

. Responsible for capital raising, new product development, client management and product management for Asia Pacific

. Conceptualize and develop third-party products based on market research, investor demand, and strategic objectives for APAC, with tailored solutions for the Korea market

. Develop and execute marketing and outreach plans for potential investors across Asia Pacific, with targeted campaigns and engagement for Korean institutional investors

. Maintain and expand relationships with new and existing third-party investors throughout APAC, with a focus on building and strengthening networks in Korea

. Drive internal approvals and support global marketing efforts for APAC products, including Korea-focused offerings

. Lead ad-hoc strategic initiatives and support communication efforts across the region, ensuring Korea market priorities are represented

. Active participation in the formulation and creation of 3P products for Korea as well as support the acquisitions and fund management teams in clients engagement

ACQUISITIONS & INVESTMENT EXECUTION

. Work closely with both internal and external investors on investment mandates in Asia Pacific

. Originate and execute on approved baseline plans to acquire and divest assets for portfolio re-balancing

. Sourcing and acquisition of real estate investments in Asia Pacific

. Participate in robust discussions with the acquisitions, fund management as well as the asset management teams to refine investment strategies

. Being the lead co-ordinator with global transaction support team for investments in Asia Pacific

. Conduct site visits, market research, and financial analysis to support investment decisions across APAC, with dedicated research and analysis for Korean opportunities

. Prepare and present investment memos negotiate transaction terms with counterparties, including those specific to Korea

. Structure investments to optimize returns and manage transaction processes, including due diligence and coordination with third-party advisors, with attention to Korea's regulatory and market environment

. Liaise with financial institutions to raise debt financing for investments, including Korean banks and lenders

ASSET & PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

. Oversee asset/investment-level business plans and monitor ongoing development projects throughout APAC, with direct oversight of Korean assets and projects

. Appoint and manage service providers to ensure asset quality and performance, including those operating in Korea

. Provide portfolio reporting and uphold investment governance standards, ensuring compliance with Korean regulations and best practices

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

. Collaborate with strategy, capital formation, fund management, and asset management teams to refine investment strategies, ensuring Korea market insights are integrated

. Develop and manage relationships with investors, partners, managers, agents, and advisors across APAC, with a strong emphasis on expanding the network in Korea

. Support the development of regional investment strategies, including new initiatives such as real estate credit, with a focus on opportunities in Korea

Key Requirements

. Strong academic background in business, economics, finance, engineering or real estate

. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in real estate including but not limited to portfolio and fund management, acquisitions and investor relations with significant exposure to the Korea market preferred

. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to speak an additional Asian language (e.g. Korean) will be advantageous

. Demonstrated business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

. Organized, detail-oriented and a collaborative team player, able to manage a diverse group of stakeholders across APAC and Korea

. Willingness and ability to travel regularly
