The Director, Strategic Operations & Client Services isa senior leadership role responsible for strengthening business operations, supporting client service delivery, and driving strategic growth initiatives within a Singapore-based tax and accounting services business. The role focuses on translating management priorities into execution plans, improving internal operating frameworks, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and supporting business expansion through disciplined processes, reporting, stakeholder management, and service quality oversight.
. Develop and implement corporate and operational strategies aligned with the company's business objectives in tax and accounting advisory and compliance services.
. Lead strategic and day-to-day operational planning to ensure effective coordination of client service activities, internal workflows, and management priorities.
. Review and improve service delivery processes, internal controls, documentation practices, and reporting mechanisms to enhance consistency, efficiency, and accountability.
. Support business development initiatives, including client relationship management, partnership development, market expansion, and evaluation of new commercial opportunities.
. Coordinate across management, service teams, and support functions to ensure smooth execution of client engagements and business operations.
. Oversee resource planning, budgeting support, workload coordination, and operational performance tracking to support sustainable growth and service quality.
. Establish and monitor management reports, key performance indicators, and operational review processes to support informed decision-making.
. Strengthen governance and compliance support by ensuring that internal processes are aligned with company policies, documentation standards, and applicable regulatory requirements in Singapore.
. Promote a culture of professionalism, service discipline, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
. Engage with external stakeholders, service partners, and business counterparties where strategic coordination and operational follow-through are required.
. Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Business, Management, Operations, Finance, or a related discipline.
. At least 10 years of progressive management experience in strategic operations, business management, professional services, financial services, or related business environments.
. Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership, management reporting, process optimisation, and implementation of operational controls.
. Strong commercial awareness and ability to support business growth, client service quality, and performance management in a structured service organisation.
. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, and organisational leadership skills.
