About Us:

At BYD Singapore, we're driving the future of sustainable transportation with cutting-edge electric vehicles that combine advanced technology, stylish design, and unmatched performance. Core business engaged in distribution of comprehensive range of electric vehicles in Singapore for consumer, commercial and industrial segments. The electric products range from passenger cars (Saloon, SUV, MPV etc), commercial vans, trucks, buses (private and public), forklift, energy storage system and PV Solar system etc

Roles & Responsibilities:

1) New market development for BYD's comprehensive range of electric vehicles, forklift and green energy products/services etc

2) Define market segments, devise marketing strategy and action plan.

3) Prepare yearly target and sales plan (yearly & 5 years) for achieving set target

4) Oversee the sales of BYD EVs, other non-EV products and ensure substantial growth and completeness in all areas of aspects in Singapore

5) Manage the P&L, a portfolio of distributors and responsible for sales of electric vehicles and related products.

6) To prepare and tender for EV and Green Energy related Projects

7) To liaise with other department of BYD to ensure synergy and alignment between sales and other functions scope.

8) Manage Sales Team.

9) Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sale and marketing or any relevant field.

  • Deep understanding of electric vehicle technology, market dynamics, and customer needs.

  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve results.

  • A good team-player, with strong negotiation, networking and client-retention skills.

  • Passion for electric vehicles and sustainable technology is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
