Job Description

Resorts World Sentosa is seeking a strategic and results driven Director, Regional Sales & Marketing – Digital Channel, to lead the development and execution of digital channel strategies across the RWS portfolio. The role is responsible for driving digital performance, revenue marketing, and commercial growth through the optimisation of digital channels, and data-driven marketing initiatives. Reporting to AVP, Regional Sales & Marketing.

This position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, technical expertise, and execution excellence. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to think innovatively, translate insights into actionable strategies, and effectively collaborate across multiple business units and stakeholders. Strong communication skills, analytical capability, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment are essential.

Candidates with proven experience in digital marketing, revenue performance marketing, e-commerce, and regional market development within the tourism, hospitality, attractions, or integrated resort industry will have a strong advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead direct channel marketing and ecommerce strategy and work closely with content lead to conceptualization and produce content suitable for RWS branded website, ensuring campaigns, messaging, and assets are consumer-focused, on-brand, and commercially effective and
  • Oversee the website operation, UXUI, and product development to design digital channel solution and user experience frameworks and ensure content architecture and optimize digital content discoverability
  • Own and lead regional digital marketing performance end-to-end, managing paid and social channels (Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and China social platforms; Rednote, Wechat, Douyin)
  • Set the strategy, control the budget, and are accountable for results through execution, optimization, and performance decisions
  • Own and lead China marketing strategy and partnership development function
  • Drive data-led decision making by monitoring platform performance, flows, client behaviour and campaign effectiveness; translate insights into actionable strategies, pricing, product positioning and distribution decisions

Supportive Functions

  • Attend S&M review and meetings as required.
  • Perform additional supportive functions as appropriate based on business needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Tourism or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Tourism, marketing or hospitality
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing team members
  • Possess a strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement short- and long-term strategy
  • Experience in facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution, with demonstrated ability to lead and manage others through influence and collaboration within a matrixed environment
  • Ability to analyse data, create compelling business cases, coupled with great influencing skill to present the findings and propose strategic and tactical recommendations to senior leaders
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information and company assets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and partners would be advantageous due to the scope of China market responsibilities
