Job Description & Requirements
The Director, Recruitment leads the recruitment team to drive student enrolment and achieve revenue targets in both local and international markets. The role provides clear direction on recruitment and outreach strategies, builds strong partnerships, and strengthens the organisation's market presence. With a disciplined, data-driven approach, the Director monitors market trends, tracks results, and drives sustainable revenue growth while developing a high-performing team aligned with the organisation's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies to meet enrolment targets across key local and international markets.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and supervise the recruitment and sales teams to achieve KPIs, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with agents, institutions, schools, and corporate clients locally and overseas.
- Conceptualise and oversee integrated digital and offline marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and conversion.
- Analyse enrolment trends, campaign performance, market data, and competitor activity to guide recruitment, sales, and marketing decisions.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, corporate engagements, education fairs, and overseas activities.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align recruitment initiatives with organisational goals and revenue targets.
- Oversee the creation of customised marketing materials and ensure brand consistency and compliance across all recruitment channels.
- Drive the effective use of CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) and digital platforms to enhance the customer journey and student experience, ensuring SSTS compliance.
- Review and improve recruitment processes for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Lead Management & Student Registration
- Proactively follow up on enquiries and leads via email, phone, events, and digital platforms.
- Manage end-to-end student registration through to full enrolment, including accurate fee collection and recording for Diplomas, Specialist Diplomas, and BABSE.
- Ensure enrolment for each intake is closed at least one month before the intake start date.
Market In-Charge (Vietnam, Thailand)
- Oversee recruitment and partnership development for Vietnam and Thailand to ensure strong pipeline growth.
- Lead B2B partnerships
- Submit market-specific marketing plans based on the 4DA planning cycles (9876, 6541, 4321)
Brand, Digital Marketing & Events
- Support brand-building and digital marketing initiatives, including timely follow-up of campaign leads and content contribution by market.
- Provide timely and actionable event reports covering participation, lead quality, conversions, feedback, and recommendations.
Planning, Travel & Governance
- Apply the 4DA planning cycles using the SuperMATH (52-week Funnel) framework, incorporating KISS, POP, and WOW principles.
- Prepare and submit travel and activity plans at least two months in advance and comply with SSTS travel and budget guidelines.
- Submit travel reports within five days of return.
Reporting & Operations
- Attend weekly HTT online meetings and submit monthly HOD dashboards without fail.
- Plan and allocate resources, set targets, and ensure compliance with SOPs and EduTrust requirements.
- Drive digital and technological transformation to improve productivity and growth.
- Establish sales objectives, forecast annual quotas, and implement sales programmes to achieve budgeted and profitable revenue outcomes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned in line with KPIs and reasonable instructions from the reporting officer.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline; Postgraduate qualifications preferred.
- Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in student recruitment, business development, or education marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record in achieving enrolment targets and managing recruitment pipelines.
- Strong digital marketing acumen and familiarity with CRM, analytics, and marketing automation tools.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Resourceful, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in hospitality education, F&B sectors, or as an ex-Chef is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally and overseas for business development and recruitment activities.
