JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for leading and executing the hotel's overall revenue strategy across rooms, function space, and catering. This role drives pricing, demand forecasting, market positioning, and performance optimization in alignment with brand standards, ownership objectives, and market dynamics, while providing strategic leadership to property stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- A degree or diploma from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
OR
- At least 5 years experiences in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

1. Revenue Strategy & Pricing
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine revenue strategies to optimize total hotel performance.
- Establish pricing and selling strategies for transient, group, and catering business.
- Oversee annual pricing, budgeting, and medium-term revenue forecasting.
- Ensure strategies align with brand philosophies, systems, and governance requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, demand drivers, and pricing dynamics.
- Analyze business mix, displacement, and profitability to support pricing and acceptance decisions.
- Identify revenue and profit opportunities and recommend corrective or growth actions.
- Drive market share and RevPAR penetration performance.
2. Market Intelligence & Performance Optimization
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, demand drivers, and pricing dynamics.
- Analyze business mix, displacement, and profitability to support pricing and acceptance decisions.
- Identify revenue and profit opportunities and recommend corrective or growth actions.
- Drive market share and RevPAR penetration performance.
3. Forecasting, Analytics & Decision Support
- Own forecasting and performance analysis for rooms and function space by segment.
- Translate data into actionable insights for leadership, owners, and commercial teams.
- Provide revenue-based input to staffing, budgeting, and strategic planning decisions.
4. Revenue Systems, Distribution & Compliance
- Govern the effective use of revenue management systems and tools.
- Oversee inventory controls, sell strategies, and distribution channel performance.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, pricing rules, and audit requirements.
5. Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and facilitate revenue and sales strategy discussions with property leadership.
- Provide strategic guidance to Sales & Marketing, Operations, and General Manager.
- Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities clearly to key stakeholders, including owners.
