We are partnering with a leading global asset management firm to appoint a Director of Retail Wealth Distribution covering the Thailand market. This is a senior individual contributor role within the firm's Southeast Asia platform, offering significant client ownership and revenue responsibility.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing the Thailand wealth distribution strategy, driving net new flows and AUM growth, and deepening partnerships across banks, securities firms, and wealth platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the firm's retail wealth distribution strategy for Thailand, with a clear focus on market share growth
- Drive net fund flows and deliver sales and AUM targets
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with key distribution partners and senior stakeholders
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships to support medium‑ and long‑term growth
- Lead commercial discussions including platform positioning, product launches, and marketing initiatives
- Monitor competitor activity and distributor trends to refine sales and commercial strategy
- Partner closely with regional sales, product, marketing, and client service teams to deliver a high‑quality client experience
- Manage RFPs, due diligence processes, and ongoing client queries
- Maintain disciplined CRM usage, pipeline management, and reporting standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a finance‑related discipline
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in asset management or financial services sales
- Strong, proven track record of asset raising within the Thailand wealth distribution market
- Established relationships with key distributors across Thailand
- Strong consultative and strategic selling capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and Thai is essential
- Experience working within a regional or APAC sales framework
