Key Responsibilities:
- Team and Organization Management: Comprehensively coordinate R&D teams in Singapore and Malaysia; responsible for manpower allocation, budget control, performance appraisal, and talent pipeline development; clarify R&D responsibilities between the two locations and establish an efficient cross-regional collaboration mechanism.
- Project Lifecycle Coordination: Serve as the overall technical lead for projects; coordinate domestic and international R&D resources; hold full accountability for project delivery, performance indicators, and final acceptance results; control technical roadmap planning and project risk management.
- Technical System and Compliance Construction: Build a standardized R&D process system and a complete compliance control system; formulate technical specifications, quality standards, and data security guidelines; supervise the implementation and continuous optimization of the system within the Singapore-Malaysia teams.
- Customer Collaboration and External Interface: Coordinate AE (Application Engineering) teams to interface with overseas customers; lead major technical communication meetings and high-level engagements; standardize technical requirement confirmation, sample testing, and on-site acceptance processes; establish long-term, stable customer trust relationships.
- Mass Production Collaboration and Supply Chain Optimization: Deeply integrate with the Malaysia manufacturing factory to promote DFM (Design for Manufacturing) optimization; accelerate local supply chain development and qualification verification; improve mass production yield rates and production efficiency and effectively control manufacturing costs.
Requirements:
(I) Basic Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Optical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Instruments, Semiconductor Physics, Automation, or related majors; Master's/PhD preferred.
- Work Experience: 8+ years of R&D experience in the semiconductor/optoelectronic equipment industry, and 3+ years of experience managing 15+ member cross-regional R&D teams; experience in taking a complete mass-production equipment project from 0 to 1 is preferred.
- Language Skills: English as a working language, capable of cross-country team collaboration and interfacing with overseas customers; fluency in Chinese is preferred.
- Regional Adaptation: Willing to work in Singapore and Malaysia and accept regular business travel.
(II) Professional Technical Skills
- Proficient in the entire R&D process of optoelectronic testing equipment/semiconductor automation equipment; familiar with at least two core areas among precision mechanical design, optical design, high-speed electrical control, motion control, and machine vision.
- Possess capabilities in overall equipment solution design, risk assessment, and troubleshooting complex issues; have successful project cases of leading the resolution of major technical bottlenecks.
- Understand R&D quality management systems (such as ISO9001, Six Sigma); familiar with DFMEA, Design for Reliability, and EMC/safety design standards.
- Possess R&D cost control awareness; familiar with BOM optimization, core material selection, and supply chain synergy logic.

- Possess complete capabilities in team building, talent development, and performance management; able to effectively drive cross-regional and cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Outstanding project management skills; able to manage multiple parallel R&D projects simultaneously, balance schedule, quality, and cost, and respond quickly to unexpected risks.
- Possess a customer-centric mindset and business communication skills; able to independently interface with key customers technical requirements, complete solution presentations, and conduct technical negotiations.
- Clear logic, result-oriented, strong ability to work under pressure, and decisive; able to adapt to the business pace of a rapidly expanding team.
(IV) Additional Qualifications
- R&D management experience in leading overseas semiconductor equipment companies.
- Local work and team management experience in Singapore/Malaysia; familiar with local labor policies and the semiconductor industry ecosystem.
- Relevant experience in leading projects related to CPO, silicon photonics chip testing equipment, or high-speed optical module testing equipment.
- Familiar with the supply chain standards and technical requirements of top-tier customers.
