At Care Community Services Society (CCSS), we believe in strengthening lives together. We serve children, youths, families, ex-offenders, and the elderly-building bridges of care that empower every person to live with dignity, hope, and purpose.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Programmes (DOP) to join our Leadership Team.
As the DOP, you will oversee the strategic development, implementation, and impact of programmes across CareKids, CareFamily, and CareElderly. Your leadership will ensure our services remain responsive, effective, and sustainable as we continue to meet the growing and changing needs of our community.
You will work closely with the Executive Director and other key stakeholders to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and position CCSS for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
. Lead Strategic Programme Development and Alignment
Oversee the end-to-end development of CCSS's core programmes across children, families, and elderly services. Ensure strategic alignment with the CCSS's mission, outcomes frameworks, and sector priorities.
. Strengthen Programme Relevance and Community Responsiveness
Apply evidence-based approaches, needs assessments, and stakeholder feedback to ensure programmes are community-informed, inclusive, and responsive to evolving social trends and national policy shifts.
. Drive Innovation and Service Sustainability
Identify opportunities for service innovation, scaling, and integration to increase impact. Develop sustainable business models, including diversification of funding sources and strategic tenders, to support long-term organisational resilience.
. Steward Sector and Stakeholder Engagement
Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with government agencies (e.g., MSF, NCSS), funders, community networks, and cross-sector partners. Represent CCSS in policy consultations, working groups, and sector initiatives.
. Lead Tender and Contract Management
Oversee complex service contracts, grant applications, and procurement processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, performance standards, and risk management protocols.
. Strengthen Organisational and Team Capability
Lead and mentor a team of department heads, fostering leadership development and sector-relevant competencies. Support succession planning, knowledge transfer, and staff development in line with sector competency frameworks and values-based leadership principles.
. Enhance Outcomes-Based Practice and Evaluation
Establish systems for outcome measurement and service evaluation. Use data to inform strategic decision-making, service refinement, and reporting to funders and stakeholders.
When you join CCSS, you become part of a team that believes in serving with integrity, compassion, and excellence. You'll lead meaningful work, shape services that change lives, and grow with a community that cares deeply about its people-both the ones we serve and those we serve alongside.
