Director of Policy & Corporate Affairs, APAC
My client is a leading global consultancy with a significant footprint across Asia. They are seeking a senior policy and corporate affairs professional to lead their regional practice, engaging across government, industry, and key stakeholder communities on some of the most consequential issues facing businesses operating in the region today.
This is a senior leadership position for a seasoned corporate affairs professional who brings deep regional expertise, strong existing relationships, and a sharp understanding of the policy and regulatory landscape across APAC.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead the development and delivery of policy and corporate affairs strategies across Asia Pacific markets
- Build, maintain, and leverage senior relationships with government ministries, regulators, trade bodies, and influential industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and interpret political, regulatory, and policy developments across the region, providing timely and commercially relevant analysis.
- Drive advocacy efforts on priority issues spanning energy transition, sustainability, market regulation, and geopolitical risk
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure integrated, coherent external engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion
Requirements;
- Minimum 15 years of experience in policy, government relations, or corporate affairs, with exposure to energy, natural resources, or related sectors an advantage
- Deep network and proven stakeholder engagement experience at a senior level across multiple APAC markets.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to distil complex policy and regulatory issues into clear, strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across diverse cultural and institutional contexts
- Degree qualified; postgraduate qualifications in law, public policy, international relations, or a related field preferred.
