Why you matter

Reporting to the CEO, you will own delivering to the company’s revenue targets, leading all internal operations and will be responsible for driving results across all aspects of the business. CrescoData has the right to operate independently but also the ability to utilise resources from PB.

This is an exciting time to join a PaaS company in its accelerated growth stage. This role will also liaise closely with the wider PB team and understand what resources we can use to tap into to help boost operational resources. This role will take ownership of delivering to the business plan and removing the CEO and CTO from being as operationally hands on.

Responsibilities

Oversea daily operations of the company & employees.

Revenue Targets

You will own overall revenue targets:

  • You will manage and support the Delivery Team to deliver to the Delivery revenue targets.
  • You will support The Customer team in revenue retention ,reducing churn and driving uplift targets
  • You will support The Sales team to deliver to New Business revenue targets

General Operational Requirements

  • Creation of 12 month operational and project plan based on project & operational objectives of CEO, CFO, CTO & business plan
  • Roll out operational projects that provide greater transparency including Business reporting, time logging
  • Data Driven - you will roll out initiatives to help scale based on data driven insights
  • Design & implement business strategies, plans & procedures
  • Set and manage comprehensive goals for performance & scale
  • Evolve our systems to become stable, efficient and and constantly iterating to meet user needs
  • Ensure operational processes and tools are in place to support a growing SaaS
  • Owner of Management & PB Reports
  • Manage P+L and budget ownership
  • Establish policies that promote company vision and culture
  • You will ensure Compliance and security across all facets of the business
  • You will remove key man dependency
  • You will evolve systems, documentation and processes to transition into a bigger company

Operational Requirements by Department:

  • Delivery
    • Ensure the effective delivery of all client projects from the initial to project execution
    • You will review processes and roll out initiatives to reduce on-boarding time and assist with scale
  • Platform
    • You will support the platform team by reviewing Dev ops processes and rolling out initiatives that help with automation eg automated testing and that ensure compliance
  • Customer Success
    • You will support The Customer Success team to evolve into a marketing leading SaaS CS function
    • You will support the team to roll out churn reduction strategies
  • Tech Solutions
    • You will ensure that the Tech Solutions (support) function is set up to support the requirements of the business in 6-12 month time
  • Sales
    • You will ensure sales processes and reporting is set up to meet pipeline requirements
    • Support with Business Development if required
  • GA + Back-office
    • You will work with back office to ensure processes and systems are as automated and streamlined as possible
    • You will manage a staggered return to the office
  • Team and Culture
    • You will be responsible for building and retaining a high achieving, motivated team
    • You will ensure a culture Humble, Hungry and Hustler as well as rolling out the PB cultural

PB Integration

  • You will support the CEO in integration projects including platform migration
  • You will work closely with the PB team to kick off integration

P+L Ownership

  • You will work with the CFO and CEO to ensure the business runs to the pre-agreed operational budget
  • You will manage the team to meet the revenue targets

Skills and Qualifications:

We’d like you to have the following skills:

  • Minimum 15+ years experience in a similar role ideally in a start-up, ad tech, digital agency or eCommerce or finance business
  • Demonstrated executor
  • Worked in Multinationals as well as smaller companies
  • Commercially driven: demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing project delivery and account growth.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Strong regional network

In addition, the following skills would be useful:

  • Skills should include organizational development, people management, budget and resource planning, and strategic planning
  • Strong background in working with agile teams and sprint
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent people management skills

The successful candidate will have these personal skills:

  • Must be organised and have a positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all essential
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: adaptable, pragmatic, proactive, hands-on, strategic, analytical, and ambitious
  • Technologically savvy. Business degree and/or IT degree with a mind for both
