We are seeking a Director of Operations - Data Center Logistics to lead the development, standardisation and deployment of our data center operational capability across APAC.

This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role partnering with commercial, engineering and operational teams to design, implement and scale specialised logistics solutions across multiple countries. You will serve as the regional authority for operational excellence in this rapidly growing vertical - supporting customer tenders, building organisational capability and ensuring safe, consistent and high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Technical Leadership

• Design and implement data center logistics operating models aligned with industry and customer standards
• Develop end-to-end service capability including warehousing, specialised transport, last-mile services and spare parts logistics
• Establish operational standards , quality assurance protocols and safety frameworks
• Lead deployment of processes supporting installation and handling of server infrastructure

Capability & Organisation Development

• Develop scalable SOPs, playbooks and training programmes across countries
• Act as regional subject matter expert supporting solution design and pricing discussions
• Build organisational readiness and operational knowledge across the network

Customer & Commercial Engagement

• Partner with Business Development teams in customer discussions and solution presentations
• Support tenders and technical proposals to strengthen customer confidence in DHL capability

Deployment & Execution

• Oversee pilot projects and initial implementations to validate operational design
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify automation and efficiency opportunities across operations
• Monitor industry developments to ensure DHL solutions remain competitive and future-ready

What You Bring

Experience

• 5+ years in data center logistics, infrastructure, technical operations or related environments
• Experience supporting complex logistics or technical service solutions
• Understanding of data center operating and compliance standards
• Exposure to commercial topics such as costing, pricing or operational performance

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability across functions and cultures
• Ability to translate technical requirements into operational execution
• Experience developing SOPs and training frameworks
• Strong communication skills in customer-facing environments
