Director of Meetings & Events (MICE) – Luxury Hotel/Resort – Bali, Indonesia
We are seeking an experienced Director of Meetings & Events with a strong sales background to lead and grow the events and group business at a luxury, award-winning hotel/resort in Bali. This is a high-profile role for a seasoned hospitality professional with international experience and a proven track record within top-tier global hotel groups.
You will oversee all aspects of Meetings, Conferences, Incentives, and Events (MICE), ensuring world-class experiences for guests while driving revenue growth. This is a strategic leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in large or multi-unit properties and luxury resort environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Meetings & Events operations, ensuring seamless execution of corporate, incentive, and group events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for group business, maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate closely with resort operations, F&B, marketing, and executive teams to ensure a luxury guest experience across all events.
- Build and maintain relationships with international clients, corporate accounts, and incentive organizers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the events and sales team to deliver high performance and professional growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to continuously improve services and offerings.
- Oversee financial performance, budgets, and KPI reporting for the meetings and events division.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 8–12 years of senior hospitality experience in luxury hotel/resort events and sales.
- Mandatory international experience with exposure to luxury hotels in multiple regions.
- Experience with large or multi-unit properties preferred.
- Previous roles within top international hotel groups highly desirable.
- Proven track record in MICE, group sales, or corporate events.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Multi-currency and multi-market business exposure preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to operations.
