As we scale rapidly across Southeast Asia, we're looking for a Director of Marketing - SEA - who can bring deep local insight, creative energy, and commercial sharpness to accelerate our growth in this high-potential market.

Role Overview

The Director of Marketing will lead all marketing efforts across Southeast Asia, driving brand growth, demand generation, and regional pipeline acceleration. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can localize global strategies, partner closely with sales and customer teams, and build a regionally resonant marketing engine.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Market Insight

  • Build and execute the regional marketing plan aligned to business and revenue goals for SEA.
  • Understand the local market dynamics, ICP nuances, buyer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Continuously analyze what's working and what's not feeding market learnings and win/loss insights into the central marketing and product teams.

Brand & Awareness Building

  • Localize and amplify the Darwinbox brand narrative across priority SEA markets (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam).
  • Drive regional storytelling and partnerships that build trust and visibility among HR leaders and CXOs.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-impact local campaigns digital, media, and influencer-driven in collaboration with central brand, content, and design teams.

Demand Generation & Revenue Impact

  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns (online and offline) to generate qualified pipeline for regional sales teams.
  • Partner with the central digital and performance teams to optimize lead flow and ROI.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to track and influence marketing-sourced and influenced revenue.

Events & Experiential Marketing

  • Conceptualize and lead regional events and CXO experiences with a strong local pulse including roundtables, forums, and customer showcases.
  • Represent the Darwinbox brand at major industry conferences, partner events, and local marketing opportunities to ensure strong and differentiated positioning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with central teams (content, brand, product marketing, digital) to localize campaigns and ensure SEA relevance.

Key Metrics / KPIs

  • Marketing-sourced and influenced revenue in SEA.
  • Pipeline generation and conversion contribution.
  • Brand awareness and share of voice in target markets.
  • Event impact (attendance, pipeline influence, post-event engagement).

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology marketing, ideally with exposure to HCM, HRTech, or enterprise software.
  • Proven success in regional marketing roles covering multiple SEA markets.
  • Strong understanding of local cultures and buyer behavior.
  • Experience driving integrated marketing campaigns that combine digital, content, events, and partner marketing.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with executional depth in a fast-paced, global team environment.
