As the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will be a key member of the hotel's leadership team, reporting directly to the Commercial Director. You will lead and inspire the Marketing team to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, revenue growth, and market share.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, creative vision, and leadership capability to elevate the Conrad Singapore Orchard brand in a competitive hospitality landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with hotel business goals
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Marketing & Communications team
  • Position the hotel brand to maximize visibility, reputation, and guest engagement

Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Plan, implement, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, PR, and partnerships)
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards
  • Analyse campaign performance and present insights and recommendations to leadership

Market Intelligence & Growth

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and promotional strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales, F&B, Spa, and other departments to drive revenue and guest satisfaction

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation and strong ROI
  • Track financial performance, including expenditure, forecasts, and profit projections

Brand & Digital Excellence

  • Strengthen brand positioning and storytelling across all channels
  • Oversee social media, content strategy, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Support lead generation and sales conversion activities

What are we looking for

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven marketing leader with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline
  • Proven experience leading a marketing team, ideally within hospitality or a luxury brand environment
  • A strong track record of successful campaign development and execution
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content strategy
  • Strong analytical, budgeting, and financial management abilities
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and copywriting skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach
