Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the role will lead brand strategy,ecosystem partnerships, and the growth of flagship initiatives to strengthenthe organisation's role as a trusted innovation catalyst. The role drivescross-functional collaboration, strategic outreach, and high-impact engagementacross the research, innovation, and enterprise ecosystem.

Description

This role will lead strategic initiatives across marketing,communications, and partnerships to strengthen the organisation's position as atrusted innovation catalyst.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and drive the long-term marketing and brand strategy to position the organisation as a leading innovation catalyst, ensuring alignment across all internal teams and external initiatives.
  • Flagship Event Ownership: Lead the conceptualisation, development, and expansion of the organisation's flagship innovation event, growing its influence as a platform for connecting enterprises, technology providers, and partners.
  • Partnerships Development: Design and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to build, deepen, and manage high-value collaborations with local and international stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to integrate marketing, communications, and partnership efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and maximising outreach effectiveness across industries and geographies.
  • Team Leadership and Organisational Growth: Lead and mentor a diverse team, instilling a growth-oriented mindset, cultivating collaboration across functions, and playing an active role in developing the next generation of leaders within the organisation.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and refine internal processes to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of marketing, communications, and partnership functions.

Profile

  • At least 8 years experience working across a range of industries, technology ecosystems, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years experience developing and executing strategies or programmes in a B2B environment.
  • A strong track record of leading high-performing, diverse, and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve or exceed goals.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field an MBA would be an advantage.
