The Director of Corporate Strategy is responsible for leading corporate strategy formulation, performance management, and cross-functional operational alignment across the organisation.
This role serves as a strategic partner to the Group COO and senior leadership team, ensuring organisational performance is monitored and initiatives are driven at a group-wide level.
Corporate Strategy & Business Planning
- Lead development of annual corporate plans and strategic roadmap
- Evaluate growth initiatives and business expansion opportunities
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making
Performance Management
- Analyse financial and operational performance trends, identifying risks and corrective actions
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making
- Lead cross-departmental taskforces or transformation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, business planning or operations leadership
- Experience in mining, commodities or energy industry would be advantageous
- Proven track record in enterprise performance management and strategic execution
- Experience working closely with C-suite or Board-level stakeholders
- Strong analytical, governance, and organisational leadership capabilities
