The Managing Director is the most senior executive responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of Nishin Baby Pte Ltd. This role has full accountability for strategy execution, business operations, financial results, and people leadership, ensuring the company's sustainable growth and long-term success in alignment with Board direction.
Lead the development and execution of the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategy.
Work closely with the Board to set strategic priorities and measurable business objectives.
Drive growth initiatives, including market expansion, new product lines, and strategic partnerships.
Develop, present, and manage annual business plans, budgets, and performance targets.
Assume full P&L responsibility for the company's financial performance.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control.
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.
Approve major commercial decisions, capital expenditures, and key contracts.
Provide overall leadership and direction of daily business operations.
Ensure effective operational structures, policies, systems, and controls are in place.
Maintain high standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance in Singapore, including ACRA, MOM, and relevant industry standards.
Set overall sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Oversee brand development, positioning, and customer engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, suppliers, and strategic partners.
Explore regional and international business opportunities where appropriate.
Lead, mentor, and develop the management team and key talents.
Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plans.
Promote a high-performance, ethical, and values-driven company culture.
Oversee human resource strategy, including workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.
Identify business risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure proper internal controls, policies, and procedures are in place.
Safeguard company assets and reputation.
Minimum 10-12 years of senior management experience, with substantial experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or equivalent.
Proven track record with full P&L accountability and business leadership.
Experience in SME environments and consumer goods, FMCG, baby products, or distribution sectors is highly advantageous.
Strong leadership capability with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.
