Key Responsibilities
Manage a regional Logistics Team with overall responsibility for oversight of physical Inventory Control
Support Applied Materials regional business entities by developing, implementing and maintaining logistics processes that comply with US and foreign tax and trade regulations.
Determination of documentation requirements throughout the supply chain including the third party logistics provider.
Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement of inbound and outbound material movements
Ensure compliance and control to Quality Standards
Development and delivery of process training across all levels of staff
Development of process effectiveness metrics
Weekly review of process exceptions at regional or global level

Director, Manufacturing Logistics Operations
This is a key leadership role within Asia Logistics, Worldwide Manufacturing Operations (WMO) and will report to the Senior Director, Asia Logistics, Global Freight and Outbound Operations). This position requires extensive experience in Logistics Operations in a manufacturing environment, along with excellent strategic thinking, communication and collaboration skills.
Representing WMO Logistics, the Operations Director is responsible for identifying operational strategies and leading, optimizing logistics activities in Asia. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of materials from suppliers to manufacturing sites, while driving operational excellence, automation, and strategic partnerships.
Role is based in Singapore and will have other Asia sites responsibility
