Director, Manufacturing Engineering (Front End Capital Equipment)

In this role, you will be leading the regional NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design teams to deliver end-to-end product industrialisation across multiple manufacturing locations. Own production readiness from design assessment and pilot builds through front-end capital equipment introduction, line commissioning, and volume ramp.

What You'll Do

• Lead NPI execution, pilot builds, deviation management, and production ramp-up.
• Drive manufacturing process development and capital equipment selection, installation, qualification, and commissioning.
• Oversee new production line start-ups and operational revamps.
• Lead DFM/DFA, prototyping, and design assessment activities.
• Establish SPC and ensure readiness of manufacturing documentation (MFLOW, WI, FMEA, PCP).
• Drive supplier and equipment vendor quality readiness with SQE teams.
• Act as senior technical interface with customers and internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years experience in EMS, electronics, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing.
• Senior leadership experience in NPI and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Hands-on exposure to front-end capital equipment lifecycle (spec, buy-off, FAT/SAT, qualification).
• Strong knowledge of SPC, quality systems, and production ramp management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-regional teams and customer engagements.
