Our client, an impact investment firm, is hiring a seasoned investment professional to take on a senior leadership role, guiding investment strategy, leading transactions, and mentoring a high-performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sector-specific investment thesis development and pipeline building.
- Lead sourcing, screening, and evaluation of impactful investment opportunities.
- Provide strategic oversight across the full investment lifecycle-from origination to exit.
- Lead due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring, and negotiations.
- Represent the firm on portfolio company boards, supporting value creation and strategic growth.
- Monitor portfolio performance and guide exit strategies.
- Support fundraising efforts and manage investor relations (LPs).
- Represent the firm externally with founders, co-investors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to institutional knowledge development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, compliance, and finance stakeholders to ensure transaction integrity and operational excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
- Strong track record of deal leadership and board participation.
- Deep sector experience in one or more of the following: healthcare, education, sustainability, or energy transition.
- Robust knowledge of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and due diligence processes.
- Exposure to emerging markets or pan-Asian investments.
- Passionate about impact investing and experienced with impact measurement frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of engaging senior stakeholders and investment committees.
- Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA or MBA qualifications are advantageous.
