Director - IP Management SEAANZ

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifies the regional demands on IP related services
• Establishes IPM service platform for the SEAANZ region including e.g. patent team
• Formulates IP strategies for the business units/business lines in the region
• Drafts and files patent applications
• Conducts patent prosecution of patent applications
• Analyzes validity and infringement of patents and freedom-to-operate
• Cooperates with external patent agencies
• Provides consulting about public funding
• Consults, negotiates and drafts IP related contracts

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 8 years of experience in IP field, especially patents and IP contracts, preferably with patent attorney certificate
• At least a bachelor (or master)s degree on chemistry or biology
• Ability to work independently and within short deadlines
• Maintain the highest degree of attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in international working environment
