Job Description
Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Shaping and executing the long-term investment strategy across listed equities and/or real estate.
- Lead idea generation, thematic research, and investment recommendations with clear risk-reward frameworks.
- Oversee portfolio construction, asset allocation considerations, and position sizing.
- Monitor portfolio performance, liquidity, and risk exposures, ensuring alignment with family objectives.
Research & Due Diligence
- Conduct deep fundamental research on companies, sectors, or real estate assets.
- Evaluate both direct and indirect investment opportunities (e.g., funds, co-investments).
- Lead due diligence across financial, commercial, structural, and operational aspects.
- Build financial models and investment memos to support decision-making.
Execution & Monitoring
- Execute trades or transactions across public markets and real estate deals.
- Maintain ongoing coverage of active investments, including KPIs, market movements, and catalysts.
- Develop and manage relationships with external managers, brokers, advisors, and counterparties.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare investment committee materials, performance reports, and strategic updates for principals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of investment processes, frameworks, and systems.
The Successful Applicant
- 15+ years of investment experience in public equities and/or real estate.
- Background from asset management, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, real estate investment firms, investment banks, or reputable family offices.
- Strong track record of idea generation and portfolio contribution.
- Exceptional analytical, commercial, and financial modelling skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and strong communication skills.
