Job Description

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in technology innovation, product management, management consulting, or consulting driving business transformation and technology strategy.
  • Experience delivering cloud adoption or cloud digital innovation programs with enterprise companies.
  • Experience in people management, team leadership, and mentorship, including leading technical teams.
  • Experience in managing products and technologies within cloud infrastructure, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), enterprise applications, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), or big data.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent business strategy experience.
  • Experience in leadership within an innovation consulting, innovation or new-venture building agency, startup, or internal captive innovation capability.
  • Experience with functional areas such as product strategy, engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance, marketing, or vendor management.
  • Ability to manage complex and cross-functional programs in an ambiguous environment, resulting in highly innovative outcomes and solutions.

As Director, Innovation Programs for APAC, you will be a key part of the Consulting team within Google Cloud. You will work on establishing and overseeing innovation programs, working directly with Google Cloud customers, to enhance business competitiveness and gain efficiencies through new products, capabilities and processes.

With Google Cloud capability as context, you will develop a broad vision and structured action plans to connect to the core business by conducting assessments, facilitating ideation workshops, establishing execution plans, and coordinating innovation projects as part of the overall innovation program. You will work closely with customers, Google Cloud partners, and teams across Google to identify key areas for innovation and transformation.

You will also identify, develop strategy around, and drive transformative initiatives to align technology and Cloud enabled innovation initiatives with overall business strategy. You will act as an innovation advocate, focusing on establishing and promoting best practices and thought leadership around innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic technical and business innovation capabilities within the Google Cloud organization to deliver new strategies, products, services, and business model solutions to customers. This includes assisting in the creation of such capability.
  • Design and deliver structured innovation programs, involving close collaboration with multiple teams and conducting innovation workshops to identify, validate, and prioritize ideas to align with business outcomes.
  • Guide customers through digital transformation by providing solutions to their business and technology challenges, overseeing the identification and development of new solutions in collaboration with Sales.
  • Solve complex problems and create holistic programs, product plans, customer journeys, and GTM strategies, ensuring success through clear KPIs.
  • Foster collaboration internally and externally, ensuring alignment, maintaining documentation, and communicating progress.
