- Credit review and/or credit approving experience
- Transactions include project financings, holding company financings, portfolio financings, acquisition financings and other infrastructure-related financing structures
- Analytical, smart, financial modelling, cash flow analysis skills
Main responsibilities:-
- Challenge financing proposals from business units across various structures, including project, holding company, portfolio, acquisition, and hybrid financings.
- Assess financing structures, sponsor support, concession frameworks, contracts, legal documentation, and security packages.
- Examine financial projections, downside scenarios, refinancing options, cash flow resilience, and recovery prospects.
- Identify key credit and structural risks, draft concise executive summaries, and provide independent credit recommendations.
- Approve transactions within delegated limits or escalate recommendations to higher authorities.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of infrastructure financing exposures across the APAC region.
- Perform annual reviews, obligor grading, and ongoing credit strategy assessments
- Track sector concentrations, adverse market developments, and deteriorating credit trends
- Provide portfolio analytics, maintain infrastructure market knowledge, maintain expertise in focus areas like Renewables, Power, Data Centres, Transport, and Natural Resources.
- Ensure policy compliance, enhance risk frameworks, oversee data and reporting
Main requirements : -
- Good Bachelor's degree from a recognized University; with experience in securitization finance, financial analysis, credit risk management.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, credit risk management, infrastructure investment, project advisory, rating agencies or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience assessing complex infrastructure financing transactions, including project financings, holding company financings, portfolio financings, acquisition financings or similar structures.
- In-depth understanding of infrastructure and project finance structures, financial modelling and cash flow analysis; construction and operational risks; concession agreements, commercial contracts and project documentation;
- Familair with financing and legal documentation; credit structuring and covenant frameworks.
- Proven ability to independently identify, assess and articulate key credit risks and mitigants in complex financing transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distil complex issues into concise and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial modelling capabilities.
