An institutional real estate investment platform is seeking a senior industrial leasing professional to lead leasing strategy, occupier engagement, and business development across a high-quality portfolio of commercial and industrial assets in Singapore.
This role goes beyond traditional leasing and will suit someone who enjoys building long-term occupier relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with asset management teams to maximise portfolio performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping leasing strategy, driving commercial outcomes, and supporting the continued evolution of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing- Lead leasing activities across a diversified real estate portfolio, driving occupancy, rental growth, lease tenure, and income sustainability
- Negotiate new leases, renewals, expansions, restructures, and other complex commercial transactions
- Develop leasing initiatives that enhance portfolio performance and respond to evolving occupier requirements
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective occupiers and renewal opportunities
- Oversee leasing campaigns for vacant space and repositioning initiatives
Portfolio Strategy- Partner with asset management teams to develop and execute leasing strategies aligned with each asset's business plan
- Provide market intelligence, leasing assumptions, and occupier insights to support investment decisions and portfolio planning
- Identify trends in occupier demand and recommend strategies to strengthen long-term portfolio performance
- Contribute to business planning and underwriting by providing commercial market perspectives
Business Development & Occupier Engagement- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major occupiers, corporate clients, brokers, and industry participants
- Identify opportunities to attract new occupiers and expand relationships with existing tenants
- Work with internal stakeholders to support portfolio growth and strategic initiatives
- Represent the business at industry events and maintain an active presence within the commercial real estate community
Leadership- Lead and coordinate external leasing agencies and brokerage partners
- Drive accountability for leasing performance, pipeline management, and execution
- Work collaboratively across asset management, development, property management, and investment teams to achieve commercial objectives
Key Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Around 8–12 years of relevant experience in commercial, industrial, business park, or mixed-use leasing
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex leasing transactions and delivering strong commercial outcomes
- Strong understanding of occupier requirements and leasing strategy within institutional real estate
- Well-established network across occupiers, property consultants, and brokerage firms
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a developer, REIT, fund manager, or institutional real estate platform will be advantageous
