Summary
The Hospitality, Resorts & Residential (HRR) Asia Sector Lead is accountable for the strategic growth, client engagement, and operational performance of the hotel, resort and residential sector across Asia. The role requires dedicated focus to translate sector opportunity into business growth, capture new revenue through disciplined pursuit management, foster deep client relationships, build high-performing teams, collaborate with CBRE to deliver integrated solutions, and represent Turner & Townsend externally as a thought leader.
Responsibilities
Sector strategy and growth
1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive sector plan with:
2. Align sector strategy with regional and global priorities
3. Conduct quarterly reviews to assess progress and recalibrate as needed
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
Sector growth and revenue generation
1. Deliver sector revenue targets totalling the 1.1x the sector budget.
2. Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities at ≥ 2.5x the sector budget.
3. Actively manage 5 strategic pursuits with RFPs expected in the next 6+ months.
4. Lead major regional and strategic bids as Bid Director or Red Team Lead, ensuring:
5. Drive post-bid conversion, ensuring smooth transition from win to delivery.
6. Collaborate with account leads to expand existing accounts and identify cross-sell opportunities.
Key client engagement
1. Sponsor the Key Client Programme for the sector, ensuring:
2. Drive accountability within Key Client Leads (KCL's) working within the sector to ensure performance and growth in line with account management and growth targets.
3. Lead and attend Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key clients, delivering:
4. Ensure proactive and consistent client care, resolving issues and strengthening relationships.
Team and capability development
1. Build, lead andcurate a high-performing sector team across the Asia region.
2. Mentor and coach team members, supporting career development and performance.
3. Facilitate knowledge sharing and training on real estate trends, tools, and methodologies.
4. Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and accountability.
5. Ensure succession planning for all key roles and maintain a clear accountability framework.
Externalisation and brand positioning
1. Publish 2thought leadership pieces per year in industry media or platforms working in conjunction with Turner & Townsend's Asia Marcomms function and aligned to the overall Real Estate communications plan.
2. Participate in 2industry panels or events per year, representing Turner & Townsend.
3. Engage with clients across the region, demonstrating mobility and responsiveness to client demands and challenges.
4. Build strategic partnerships with industry bodies, peer consultants and supply chain partners.
5. Contribute to the firm's visibility and reputation as a market leader in real estate consulting.
Engagement with the CBRE platform
1. Collaborate with CBRE to develop One Business Solutions that integrate Turner &Townsend's capabilities with CBRE's platform.
2. Convene and lead integrated offerings that deliver enhanced value to clients, including:
3. Champion joint initiatives and ensure alignment across both organisations.
