The Director, Global Sales (Travel Trade & Corporate) will lead global sales initiatives targeting travel trade partners and corporate clients. This role is responsible for driving sales productivity, managing strategic accounts, and expanding market share through innovative sales strategies, cross-functional collaboration, and client-centric solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive Productivity within Global Sales Team

  • Mobilize and lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets in travel trade and corporate segments.
  • Manage opportunities and ensure timely disposition of new leads.
  • Develop and execute market initiatives aligned with network expansion.
  • Provide strategic guidance to regional sales teams on account acquisition and retention.
  • Support pre-selling efforts for newly launched outlets and services.

Sales Efficiency & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct customer and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Review sales pipelines regularly to ensure progress and alignment with KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, baselines, and performance standards.

Client Management – Travel Trade & Corporate

  • Oversee global sales activities and account management for travel trade and corporate clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and decision-makers.
  • Support regional teams in identifying and securing new accounts.
  • Provide client servicing including contract negotiation, issue resolution, system integration, and tactical campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Monitor client performance and identify opportunities to expand business across markets.

General Sales Activities

  • Prepare sales forecasts for tenders and new market launches.
  • Develop pricing structures and sales plans tailored to travel trade and corporate channels.
  • Lead and support ad hoc projects and cross-team initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate with minimum 10 years experience in sales and account management, preferably in travel trade, hospitality, or corporate services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills with experience in developing pricing and business models.
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure with excellent time management.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese; Cantonese is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
