About Our Client

Our client is an established international private bank with a strong presence in Asia. As part of its continued growth in the region, the bank is looking to appoint a Director, FX Dealer based in Singapore. This is a senior front-office role with a primary focus on FX, alongside broader exposure across FICC, Equities and structured products. The successful candidate will provide execution and advisory support to Relationship Managers and private banking clients, combining strong product expertise with sound market judgement and client engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide execution and advisory services primarily across FX products, with broader coverage across FICC, Equities and structured products

• Support Relationship Managers and clients with market insights, trade ideas and investment solutions

• Provide best execution services to sophisticated private banking clients

• Develop and present short-term market and investment ideas during regular sales discussions

• Provide multi-asset execution coverage and support across relevant products when required

• Support Relationship Managers and clients in understanding investment products, including derivatives and structured solutions

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver timely and high-quality execution and client solutions

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant market counterparties and industry participants

• Contribute to the continued development of the Bank's dealing and execution capabilities

• Provide senior coverage and leadership support to the dealing function when required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking or a related discipline

• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in FX dealing, execution or advisory within Private Banking or Wealth Management

• Strong FX product knowledge, including derivatives and structured solutions

• Broader product knowledge and execution experience across FICC, Equities and other asset classes would be highly advantageous

• Demonstrated experience working closely with Relationship Managers and sophisticated private banking clients

• Strong understanding of execution practices and financial markets

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, given regular engagement with Mandarin-speaking clients across the region

• Self-driven, highly motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
